Other Activitites:Chamba Sightseeing Tour

Chamera Lake: Tranquility is just a by product of visiting Chamera Lake, as the tourists rave about how they can’t get enough of the beauty. The lake and the dam are complementary to each other and add to the view.

Lakshmi Narayan Temple: Now you may mistake Chamba to be a run of the mill getaway destination with temples and lakes, and you may wish to steer clear of the Lakshmi Narayan Temple, but we would advise you the opposite.

Rang Mahal: Handicraft lovers, rejoice! The Himachal Emporium, housed in Raja Umed Singh’s Rang Mahal in Surara Mohalla, is the haven of all things handmade. The emporium timings ate 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm.

Chaugan: One of which is Chaugan which is also your ultimate shopping destination. Chamba is famous for a variety of things like the famous Kangra tea, Kangra paintings, and everything organic. Chaugan is a plain area in the town where all the major activities in Chamba take place. There are a number of shops where you can find all sorts of lovely souvenirs for your trip like precious stones, metal artifacts, and the famous Chamba slippers.

Bharmour: Surrounded by verdant mountains and alpine pastures, the quaint town of Bharmour is a secluded and unspoilt tourist stopover. Lying on the outskirts of Chamba, the main attraction of this town is Chaurasia, a temple that has 84 shrines in its periphery. Built between the 7th and 10th centuries, these shrines boast varied architecture that is quite striking. The most notable among these is the Manimahesh Temple that has an awe-inspiring shikhara (spire) that seems to almost pierce the sky. The Lakshna Devi Temple is a must-visit and tourists can pay their respect to the metre-high idol of the goddess in solid brass housed in the sanctum sanctorum.

Manimahesh Lake: Tranquility is just a by product of visiting Chamera Lake, as the tourists rave about how they can’t get enough of the beauty. The lake and the dam are complementary to each other and add to the view.
